award,

of
your peers favorably reviewed your application and I have a few matters
to discuss/verify with you prior to further processing of your
application:
1. If your
department is selected for an award, would your department accept?
YES,
our City Council has approved the grant request and we are
prepared to proceed at your direction.
2. If
selected
for a grant award, can your department meet the required cost-share?
YES,
we can meet the required cost-share.
How are you planning to meet
the

We
will be using funds that have been set aside by City Council
action for the grant award. These dollars will be available in fiscal
year 2003 and 2004 as needed for our grant request.
3. If
selected
for an award, does your department understand
that the funds can only cover expenses for one year and that you have
to spend the funding within the one year period of your award
date?
YES,
we do.
4. If
selected, do you understand that your department will be
required to report to NFIRS for at least the period of the grant?
YES,
we have been reporting to NFIRS for a number of years and will
continue.
5. Do you
have
any changes to your point of contacts, phone
numbers, email addresses, or banking information listed in your
application?
NO,
not at this time.
6. Did you
have any pre-award costs including the use of a grant
writer? If yes, please provide copies of checks written,
receipts,
etc.

the grant
was put together by our firefighters and we do not have any costs.
Thanks for reviewing our request
