The participants who successfully complete the two day course will become MN NFA Adjunct Instructors and will also be eligible to be added to the list of approved instructors for this course by the Minnesota Board of Firefighter Training and Education (MBFTE)

The Preregistration Roster needs to be sent to NFA as soon as possible.

Incident Safety Officer (Revised) Train-the-Trainer (F728)
This 2-day course examines the Safety Officer's role at emergency responses. A specific focus on operations within an Incident Command System (ICS) as a Safety Officer is a main theme. Response to all-hazards types of situations will be emphasized.

Selection Criteria

Individuals who have a Safety Officer responsibility at emergency operation situations. Persons attending this course should have a working knowledge of the ICS, as taught by NFA, building construction principles, hazardous materials management, applicable NFPA guidelines, and Federal regulations.

Saturday September 11th 2010,

The Linwood Fire Department will be holding their 49th Annual Fireman’s Dance on September 11th

Music will be provided by the Killer Hayseeds!

FIREWORKS show at 9pm

There will be Raffle and Door prizes
Including 32” Flat screen TV *** Gas Cards!

(You do not need to be present to win
Raffle prizes)

All Firefighter presenting ID will be admitted free

The ticket is good for raffle and as the dance entry

Pre-Event tickets are $5. Tickets will be $8 at the door.
Tickets can be purchased from either Linwood Firefighters or from the Linwood Town Hall.
