The North Metro Chemical Assessment Team will be conducting a 60 hour Haz-Mat Technician Class sponsored by OAI starting Tuesday March 9, 2010, 6-10pm for 15 weeks. * March 9 * March 16 * March 23 * March 30 * April 6 * April 13 * April 20 * April 27 * May 4 * May 11 * May 18 * May 25 * June 1 * June 8 * June 15 The class will be held at Blaine Fire Station 3, 11920 Ulysses St.. Cost of $50/student. Textbooks and workbooks will be provided. The class will be limited to 20-25 participants. Prerequisite of Hazmat Operations training. OAI, Inc. (http://www.oaiinc.org) is a non-profit workforce development agency founded in 1976 by our current president, Tipawan T-Q Reed. OAI delivers training in a number of cities and states across the nation. Following affiliations with other organizations, including Northern Illinois and DePaul Universities, the former “Office of Applied Innovations” became OAI, Inc., a freestanding 501(c)(3) agency, in April 2001.
